If you want to cut down on your water bills and usage, a lot of times you need look no further than getting a new toilet -- especially something like a low flow or dual flush.
Low flow toilets are toilets that use less water on each flush to get the job done; while most toilets use between 3 and 5 gallons per flush (!), low flow toilets use about 1-2 per per flush. That's a difference of 10 gallons per person per day vs 20-25!
Newer toilets and toilet designs have a better performance, making them more able to efficiently flush without risk of clogs while also using less water -- which can help cut down costs on your water bills.
Ask our team about low-flow toilets and we can help you decide on one that fits best with your home and goals while also matching your budget.
Dual flush toilets are toilets that use a different button or handle for different types of flushes. They typically have the full flush and half-flush option:
Full flush: provides the full amount of water for the flush to dispose of solid waste
Half flush: provides half the amount of water for the flush to dispose of liquid waste
Dual-flush toilets can help cut down on water usage and therefore save you money on your water bill. Most dual-flus toilets use less than half a gallon of water, which is even less than low-flow toilets.
